Sally Wonderly Nalesnik, MD, FACOG
Doctor Nalesnik, a Bakersfield native, is a Board Certified Obstetrician/Gynecologist and graduated with honors from UCLA. After obtaining a competitive slot in the US Air Force, she went on to earn her medical degree at USUHS in Bethesda Maryland, graduating with honors and inducted into Alpha Omega Alpha Medical Honors Society in 1996. Dr. Nalesnik then trained at Wilford Hall Medical Center, a Level 3 Trauma Center in San Antonio, Texas with the specialty of Ob/Gyn. She became a Diplomat of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2003.
Dr. Nalesnik has travelled the world with her job and love of medicine. She proudly served the women in the Armed Forces for five years at Landstuhl, Germany, the primary overseas hospital supporting operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Endouring Freedom.
Dr. Nalesnik has received numerous awards for her outstanding teaching and contributions to Women’s health. She is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and is a published author in her field.
Her interests include Urogynecology and female incontience.
Dr. Nalesnik lives with her physician husband and three fun-loving boys. After selection as a Lieutenant Colonel with the U.S. Air Force, she has chosen to return to her roots and now enjoys helping the women of the community she grew up in.
